Terms of Service
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms cover use of Fence Visualiser, whether you are a homeowner trying a fence on your own photograph or a fencing company using it with a customer.
What the visualiser is
It produces an illustrative impression of how a fence might look on a property, generated from a photograph you provide. It is a guide to style, colour and proportion — nothing more.
What it is not
- It is not a colour match. How a fence appears depends on lighting, the quality of the photograph and the screen you are viewing it on. Always ask for a physical sample before ordering.
- It is not a measurement or survey tool. The line, length, height and post positions shown are approximate. Dimensions, materials, ground conditions and installation requirements must be confirmed by a professional.
- It is not a boundary or planning check. It cannot tell you where your legal boundary lies, whether a neighbour must agree, or whether a fence of a given height needs planning permission.
- It is not a quotation. Prices, availability and specification come from the fencing company, not from us.
Your photograph
Only upload a photograph you have the right to use, and do not upload images containing other people. You keep ownership of your photograph. You give us permission to process it in order to produce the visualisation and to show it to the fencing company whose page you are using.
Fair use
Do not attempt to overload, automate against, or otherwise abuse the service. We apply usage limits and may refuse requests to keep the service available and its running costs predictable.
For fencing companies
You are responsible for what you tell your customers. Do not present a visualisation as a guarantee of the finished appearance, and make sure the fences in your range are ones you can actually supply. You are the data controller for the customer records held in your account; we process them on your behalf.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will always be available or that a visualisation will be accurate. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for decisions made or costs incurred on the basis of an image produced here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
